The Technology Innovators Conference is a two-day event in Washington, D.C. which engages leading innovators, public and private funders, venture capitalists, policymakers, and media to discuss the challenges and solutions driving the field. The conference is hosted by the National Center for Technology Innovation.

This was a project with DKW Communications Inc. to provide services including content management of the USAID internet and intranet websites, 508 compliance for web-related multimedia, and distributing Agency wide notices. While performing my regular duties I took the opportunity to write a PHP application used to automatically format and generate the daily Agency notices. USAID continues to use this application today.

The National Evaluation and Technical Assistance Center for the Education of Children and Youth Who Are Neglected, Delinquent, or At Risk. NDTAC serves as a national resource center to provide direct assistance to States, schools, communities, and parents seeking information on the education of children and youth who are considered neglected, delinquent, or at-risk. The education of youth involved in the juvenile justice system is a primary focus of the Center.

This project was developed as a tool to assist motorcycle riders in finding parking in major cities. It has indexed over 4000 parking spots and grows daily. SpotNINJA.com was designed and developed in my spare time and gave me the chance to learn the Google Maps API and WordPress.

FindYouthInfo.gov was created by the Interagency Working Group on Youth Programs (IWGYP), which is composed of representatives from 12 Federal agencies that support programs and services focusing on youth. The IWGYP promotes the goal of positive, healthy outcomes for youth.

RTI4Success.org is a contract between the American Institutes for Research and the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Program’s TA&D Network. I serve as the primary web developer and designer for this website. My tasks include updating content such as “Ask the Expert” videos, recorded webinars, and custom scripted tools charts. I also implemented a new live chat system which hosts a monthly chat between RTI experts and the public.
